Japan and South Korea Guests Receive Temporary Visa-Free Azerbaijan Entry Window
From 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2027, ordinary-passport holders from Japan and South Korea can visit Azerbaijan visa-free for tourism.
Azerbaijan’s State Migration Service has announced a temporary visa-free period for tourists from Japan and South Korea, a welcome step for cultural and leisure travel between the countries.
The details
- Period: 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2027
- Who: holders of ordinary passports from Japan and South Korea
- Stay: up to three entries, each for up to 30 days
- Purpose: tourism; other purposes still require the appropriate visa
