Arrival in Athens & Plaka
Fly from Baku and arrive in Athens. An orientation walk through Plaka and Monastiraki passes Hadrian’s Arch, with the floodlit Acropolis above the rooftops. Overnight: Athens.
Day 2
Acropolis, Museum & Ancient Agora
Climb the Acropolis to the Parthenon, then see the Acropolis Museum and the Ancient Agora with the best-preserved Doric temple, the Temple of Hephaestus. Overnight: Athens.
Day 3
Corinth Canal, Mycenae & Nafplio
Cross the Corinth Canal and explore Mycenae — the Lion Gate and the Treasury of Atreus — before arriving in the elegant port town of Nafplio. Overnight: Nafplio.
Day 4
Epidaurus Theatre & Nafplio Fortress
Visit the ancient theatre of Epidaurus and its healing sanctuary, then return to Nafplio for the Palamidi fortress, the Bourtzi islet and old-town lanes. Overnight: Nafplio.
Day 5
Bassae Temple & Ancient Olympia
Cross the mountains of Arcadia to the remote Temple of Apollo Epicurius at Bassae, then arrive at Ancient Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games. Overnight: Olympia.
Day 6
Rio–Antirrio Bridge to Delphi
Visit the stadium and museum at Olympia, cross the cable-stayed Rio–Antirrio Bridge and climb to Delphi, the “navel of the world”, on Mount Parnassus. Overnight: Delphi.
Day 7
Hosios Loukas & Return to Athens
Stop at the Byzantine mosaics of Hosios Loukas and the mountain village of Arachova, then return to Athens and the Panathenaic Stadium before departure.
