Hollywood & Griffith Observatory
Photograph the Hollywood Sign, walk the Walk of Fame and the TCL Chinese Theatre, then watch the city glow from Griffith Observatory. Overnight: Los Angeles.
Day 3
Getty Center, Beverly Hills & Malibu
Visit the Getty Center for its art and gardens, browse Rodeo Drive and drive the Pacific Coast Highway through Malibu. Overnight: Los Angeles.
Day 4
Sequoia Giants on the Road North
Drive north through the San Joaquin Valley to Sequoia National Park to walk among the giant sequoias, including the General Sherman Tree. Overnight: Oakhurst.

Yosemite Valley
Enter Yosemite National Park: the granite face of El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall and the Tunnel View panorama over the valley and Half Dome. Overnight: Yosemite.
Day 6
Glacier Point & Yosemite Falls
Drive to Glacier Point for a bird’s-eye view of Half Dome, then walk to the base of Yosemite Falls and the quiet water of Mirror Lake. Overnight: Yosemite.

To San Francisco & Fisherman’s Wharf
Drive west to San Francisco. Explore Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39, with a sunset view of Alcatraz Island across the bay. Overnight: San Francisco.

Golden Gate Bridge & Painted Ladies
Walk or cycle across the Golden Gate Bridge, visit the Palace of Fine Arts, then see Lombard Street and the Painted Ladies at Alamo Square. Overnight: San Francisco.
