Arrival in Barcelona & Gothic Quarter
Fly from Baku and arrive in Barcelona. Explore the Gothic Quarter’s narrow lanes, the cathedral and Plaça Reial, then walk down La Rambla to the sea. Overnight: Barcelona.
Day 2
Gaudí’s Barcelona
A full day with Gaudí: the Sagrada Família, the mosaic terraces of Park Güell and the modernist façades of Casa Batlló and Casa Milà on Passeig de Gràcia. Overnight: Barcelona.
Day 3
Montserrat Monastery
Head to the serrated peaks of Montserrat by cogwheel train to visit the Benedictine abbey and its Black Madonna, with time for a short mountain walk. Overnight: Barcelona.
Day 4
Girona & Tossa de Mar
Leave for the Costa Brava via Girona, with its colourful houses on the River Onyar and its cathedral, then on to the walled seaside town of Tossa de Mar. Overnight: Costa Brava.
Day 5
Dalí Country: Figueres & Cadaqués
Visit the surreal Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, then the whitewashed fishing village of Cadaqués, the wild headland of Cap de Creus and the hilltop monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes. Overnight: Costa Brava.
Day 6
Back to Barcelona & Farewell
Return to Barcelona for a last look at the Torre Glòries, the Arc de Triomf and Ciutadella Park before the transfer to the airport.
