Arrival in Kyoto
Fly from Baku via Osaka and transfer to Kyoto. An easy evening along the Kamo River and Pontocho alley introduces the old capital’s lantern-lit atmosphere. Overnight: Kyoto.
Day 2
Higashiyama in Red & Gold
Follow the stone lanes of Higashiyama to Kiyomizu-dera, the Yasaka Pagoda and Maruyama Park, where the maples glow at their autumn peak. Overnight: Kyoto.
Day 3
Philosopher’s Path & Zen Temples
A slow walk along the canal of the Philosopher’s Path between Ginkaku-ji and Nanzen-ji, with the brick aqueduct and Eikan-dō’s famous illuminated autumn garden. Overnight: Kyoto.
Day 4
Sagano & the Maple Valleys
Ride the Sagano Scenic Railway through the Hozu gorge, then explore Arashiyama’s quiet hillside temples and the Tenryū-ji garden. Overnight: Kyoto.
Day 5
Fushimi Inari & Uji
Climb through the torii gates of Fushimi Inari, then visit Uji for the Phoenix Hall of Byōdō-in and a green-tea tasting by the river. Overnight: Kyoto.

Golden Pavilion, Ryōan-ji & Nijō Castle

Nara – Temples & Deer
Travel to ancient Nara for the Great Buddha of Tōdai-ji, the friendly deer of Nara Park, Kasuga Taisha’s lanterns and the Isuien garden. Overnight: Osaka.

Hōryū-ji & Osaka Nights
Visit Hōryū-ji, one of the world’s oldest wooden temples, before moving to Osaka for the castle and the neon glow of Dōtonbori. Overnight: Osaka.

Sumiyoshi Shrine & Departure
A final morning at Sumiyoshi Taisha or the Osaka Aquarium, then the transfer to Kansai Airport and the flight home to Baku.
