Fly from Baku and arrive in Istanbul. Walk through Sultanahmet Square to see the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the ancient Hippodrome. Overnight: Istanbul.
Day 2
Topkapı Palace, Grand Bazaar & Galata
Visit the Ottoman sultans’ Topkapı Palace, lose yourself in the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Bazaar, then climb the Galata Tower for sunset over the Golden Horn. Overnight: Istanbul.
Day 3
Fly to Cappadocia – Göreme & Uçhisar
A short flight brings you to Cappadocia. Visit the rock-cut churches of Göreme Open-Air Museum and the Uçhisar castle for the first look at the fairy chimneys. Overnight: Cappadocia.
Day 4
Sunrise Balloon Flight & Valleys
Rise before dawn for an optional hot-air balloon flight above the valleys, then explore Zelve, the Red Valley and the underground city of Derinkuyu. Overnight: Cappadocia.
Day 5
Back to Istanbul & Bosphorus Cruise
