Arrival in Málaga
Fly from Baku and arrive in Málaga. Collect your hire car or private driver, then stroll to the Alcazaba, the Roman theatre and the cathedral in the old town. Overnight: Málaga.
Day 2
Ronda & Setenil de las Bodegas
Drive into the mountains to Ronda, perched above its Puente Nuevo gorge, and to Setenil de las Bodegas, where houses are built under the rock, before reaching Seville. Overnight: Seville.
Day 3
Seville Cathedral & Real Alcázar
A guided morning at the Gothic cathedral and the Giralda tower, then the Real Alcázar’s Mudéjar palaces and gardens, with a flamenco evening in Triana. Overnight: Seville.
Day 4
Riverside Seville & Triana
Walk to the Torre del Oro and the Metropol Parasol, cross the Guadalquivir to the potters’ quarter of Triana and relax in the María Luisa Park. Overnight: Seville.
Day 5
Córdoba’s Mosque-Cathedral
Drive to Córdoba to see the forest of arches inside the Mezquita, the Roman Bridge and the flower-filled lanes of the old Jewish Quarter. Overnight: Córdoba.
Day 6
To Granada – Albaicín & Sacromonte
Continue to Granada. In the afternoon, explore the whitewashed Albaicín quarter, the cathedral and the royal chapel, then the cave houses of Sacromonte. Overnight: Granada.
Day 7
The Alhambra
A guided visit to the Alhambra: the Nasrid Palaces, the Generalife gardens and the Palace of Charles V, with views over the whole city and the Sierra Nevada. Overnight: Granada.
Day 8
Antequera & Departure via Málaga
Drive back to Málaga via Antequera, visiting the prehistoric dolmens and the limestone labyrinth of El Torcal, with an optional walk on the Caminito del Rey gorge path, in time for your flight home.
