Arrival in Marrakech & Jemaa el-Fna
Fly from Baku and arrive in Marrakech. As dusk falls, join the storytellers, musicians and food stalls of Jemaa el-Fna square beside the Koutoubia Mosque. Overnight: Marrakech.
Day 2
Palaces, Tombs & the Medina
Visit the tiled Bahia Palace, the ruins of El Badi and the Saadian Tombs, then browse the souks for spices, leather and lanterns. Overnight: Marrakech.
Day 3
Over the High Atlas to Aït Benhaddou
Cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the High Atlas to the UNESCO-listed ksar of Aït Benhaddou, a famous film location, then continue to Ouarzazate. Overnight: Ouarzazate.
Day 4
Dadès & Todra Gorges to Merzouga
Follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through the Dadès Valley and the towering Todra Gorge before reaching Merzouga at the edge of the dunes. Overnight: Desert camp, Merzouga.
Day 5
Sahara Sunrise & the Road to Fes
Watch the sun rise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, then drive through the Ziz Valley and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas to Fes. Overnight: Fes.
Day 6
Fes el-Bali Medina
A guided walk through the world’s largest car-free medina: the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Chouara Tannery and the Al-Qarawiyyin University. Overnight: Fes.

Royal Palace Gates & Departure
A last look at the golden doors of the Royal Palace and Bab Boujloud before the transfer to Fes airport.
