Arrival in Bangkok & Chao Phraya Cruise
Fly from Baku and arrive in Bangkok. In the evening, cruise the Chao Phraya River past Wat Arun and stroll Yaowarat, the city’s Chinatown. Overnight: Bangkok.
Day 2
Grand Palace, Wat Pho & Jim Thompson House
Guided visit to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the giant reclining Buddha of Wat Pho and the teak house of Jim Thompson. Overnight: Bangkok.
Day 3
Ayutthaya Ancient Capital
A day trip to the ruins of Ayutthaya, the former Siamese capital — Wat Mahathat’s Buddha head in the tree roots, Wat Chaiwatthanaram and the Bang Pa-In summer palace. Overnight: Bangkok.
Day 4
Fly to Chiang Mai – The Old City
Take a short flight north to Chiang Mai. Walk the moated old city: Tha Phae Gate, Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang. Overnight: Chiang Mai.

Doi Suthep & Doi Inthanon
Climb to the mountain temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep for its views over the city, then visit Thailand’s highest peak, Doi Inthanon, and its twin royal pagodas and waterfalls. Overnight: Chiang Mai.

Northern Culture & Night Bazaar
Explore the tunnels and lake of Wat Umong, the temple of Wat Chiang Man and the Three Kings Monument, finishing at the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar. Overnight: Chiang Mai.

Fly to Phuket & Old Town

Phang Nga Bay by Boat

A free morning on Kata or Karon beach, then the sunset viewpoint of Promthep Cape at the island’s southern tip. Overnight: Phuket.
