Greek Island Shoulder-Season Packages: What Changes in Price
May, June, September and October bring warm sea, calmer beaches and friendlier hotel rates on the Greek islands.
The Greek islands are at their most relaxed just outside the July and August peak, and that shows in both atmosphere and price.
What you can expect
Hotel rates in the shoulder months are typically lower than in high summer, and beaches, tavernas and ferries are calmer. The sea is pleasantly warm in September, after a summer of sunshine.
What to check
Some seaside businesses and ferry routes run reduced timetables early and late in the season, so we confirm schedules when we build your itinerary. Greece is a Schengen destination, so allow time for your visa application.
