Arrival in Baku
Arrive in Baku and check in. In the evening walk the seafront, enjoying the view of the Flame Towers and Crystal Hall over the Caspian. Overnight: Baku.
Day 2
Old City & Gobustan
Discover the Icheri Sheher, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and the Maiden Tower, then drive to the rock engravings of Gobustan. Overnight: Baku.
Day 3
Fly to Tbilisi – the Old Town
A short flight brings you to Tbilisi. Walk the old town beneath the Narikala fortress, the sulphur-bath quarter and the Bridge of Peace. Overnight: Tbilisi.
Day 4
Tbilisi Landmarks & Rustaveli Avenue
See the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the elegant Rustaveli Avenue and Freedom Square, with an evening of Georgian wine and supra dinner. Overnight: Tbilisi.
Day 5
Mtskheta & Uplistsikhe
Visit Georgia’s ancient capital Mtskheta with the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery, then the cave city of Uplistsikhe. Overnight: Tbilisi.
Day 6
Georgian Military Road to Kazbegi
Follow the historic mountain road past Ananuri fortress, the Gudauri ski area and the Jvari Pass to Stepantsminda at the foot of Mount Kazbek. Overnight: Kazbegi.
Day 7
Gergeti Trinity Church & Kazbek
Take a 4x4 up to Gergeti Trinity Church, with views of the glaciated Mount Kazbek, then drive to the Dariali Gorge. Overnight: Kazbegi.
Day 8
Back to Tbilisi & Departure
Return to Tbilisi for a final walk around Sioni Cathedral and the Opera House before the flight back to Baku.
